Location:  Lyons Science Annex - Room 128

DescriptionThis session is to introduce Project STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Advocacy, and Mathematics) and its focus on recruitment, retention, and degree completion of students from underserved and underrepresented populations—including those with disabilities and those with military backgrounds—into STEM majors. The workshop will include an overview of the professional development modules offered by Project STEAM in Canvas.  STEM faculty are highly encouraged to participate, however, the session is open to all faculty.

The Office of Faculty Development (OFD) provides training, support and professional development to faculty members to promote continued excellence in their teaching, research, service responsibilities and work-life needs.
